What We Know

With a database containing over 600,000 contacts, we know that the majority of the client’s buyers are female and that they LOVE to read our emails based off the open and click-thru rate data. Our strategy for this campaign was to hammer in the emails to keep top-of-mind with their customers and to always at the top of their inbox.

Challenges

The client’s database leans heavily towards middle-aged women. The purpose of introducing paid advertising was to gain traction with the male audience, which are the majority of the purchasers on this holiday.

Planning

After identifying the target market for this campaign (Women buying for other women for Galentine’s Day and men buying for women), the Kuno team created a presentation pitch for the client. The purpose of this pitch was to establish the look-and-feel for the campaign, which aligns with the company’s branding and establish the tone of the content.

This presentation included:

  • Product photography moodboard

  • Female target themes, email design and headlines, and blog titles

  • Male target themes and animated ads for Facebook
