Website Refresh for Retired Seniors Living at Home

Challenges

With the need to increase sales, this client wanted to refresh their website in order to house a wealth of knowledge to make their value proposition very clear and to make the decision easier for seniors who are trying to avoid nursing homes.

Since most leads become members through in-person sales, we needed to create a virtual experience for leads due to COVID-19.

Solutions

A mega navigation

This called for a complete overhaul of their website’s content to include more informational pages that include their services and financial planning information.

In order to keep things organized on their site, we designed a mega-navigation which included dropdowns with descriptive text that lets the user read about the page before clicking on it.

Addressing cost pain-points through faqs

Through research, interviews, and surveys, we found that one of the pain-points for a potential lead is that they are concerned about the membership costs. To address this, our team created resources around the cost and designed an FAQ page for this topic. This page is keyword optimized for users who are using search engines to find information on this topic and the page is indexed by Google.

Virtual Seminars

Furthermore, the Kuno team used a pre-recorded seminar so that interested users could stream the video from home, thus staying safe from COVID-19.

Design Elements

  • Font sizes were taken into consideration in the design to accomodate senior citizens who may have a hard time reading on their computer or mobile devices

  • A very simple UI to make it easy for the user to sign up for seminars or events

  • Very clear buttons and links
